Three Generations

Wayne County Nursing Home & Rehab Center is truly a "Home away from Home" for three generations of the VanHaelst family.

Eleanor VanHaelst recently used the facility for short term rehab where her Mother and Daughter reside. Prior to needing the services herself Eleanor visited frequently, often volunteering to play the organ and sharing craft ideas. Eleanor's Mother, Dorothy Boynton at 102 1/2 years old and Eleanor's daughter, Linda live on the same household and took the opportunity to have a family picture taken. Eleanor has held family get togethers at the nursing home and is looking forward to return to celebrate Thanksgiving together.
