Corn Husking
Sweet corn was on the menu for a picnic lunch provided by the Food & Nutrition Department on August 19,2010 it was in conjunction with the “We Care Fair ”
Residents were able to use their muscles in their arms and on their faces with smiles while husking 192 ears of corn. It was an enjoyable activity and no one was complaining about it rather reminiscing. Discussion included planting & Harvesting corn and making favorite corn recipes.
